Church of the Incarnation: Dallas, TX
Cram and Ferguson Architects produced a Master Plan; Design for a new Welcome Center and Religious Education Building and were requested to study two concepts for a traditional Sanctuary, one based on English precedents, the other on French. One faction wanted a new traditional sanctuary that would be an exemplary traditional structure another supported a more contemporary design. Ultimately the development effort failed to raise sufficient funds to fund a new traditional sanctuary and the Anthony and Alderman design for the Education Building and Welcome Center was completed largely as designed.
